Wow - it was worth the drive and the wait! And because we drove far and waited long, we decided to order 3 sandwiches for 2 people. Yes we could only eat half but again, it was worth it. Prosciutto (Il Crudo) was our fave and the second was the mortadella with pistachio cream. Love that it had literally whole pistachios in the sandwich. And what made is so special aside from the size and portion, is that they make their bread fresh! But expect to wait for your food. We waited an hour. Take out seemed to have moved a lot faster than eating in.
We finally made to Crudo. After a long day at the ROM and building up an appetite, we headed to Crudo. Everyone must go and meet the wonderful people who greeted us like family. The food was absolutely out of this world and the portions are exactly what u see on their social media. The bread fresh from the oven and steaming, the porchetta was juicy and melt in ur mouth. The other sandwiches we sampled were amazing. I highly recommend a visit to Crudo. Don’t wait just go and enjoy.
Amazing sandwiches. Very generous with how full they are, and the dough is delicious. Was so big it gave me 2 meals worth of food. My only complaint was we placed an online order, and when I got there at pickup time they hadn’t even started making it, so I had to wait an extra 20 minutes.
Oh wow! This was my first reaction! I just got this place randomly while heading home! I just saw it along the way and told to myself, let's give it a try! The "subs" here were absolutely fantastic! A bit overpriced tho, but I guess it is because of the quality of the ingredients they use! You can even feel/taste the quality on each bite! My "subs" were absolutely fantastic! So tasty! The service was phenomenal! They were very friendly with me even when it was my first time and I had no idea what to expect! Highly recommended and I'll come back again, like often! Try the specialty of the house (prosciutto)!
Ok I’m speechless, the whole CRUDO dining experience was unbelievable...I kept saying to my wife, JUST WOW!! Being Italian I have a very high standard for Italian food and CRUDO did not disappoint. The customer service was very warm and friendly like everyone was family, a shoutout to Paolo for his warm customer service/interpersonal skills and wanting us to have the best dining experience at CRUDO, also to Lara she was great and our service was flawless and her attention to detail and wonderful conversation...Pepe is the class act and has a passion for perfection and his attention to detail is priceless, and wonderful showman and a joy watching him do his craft, he is very friendly and extremely hospitable. The rest of the team behind the counter and servers work together like a fine running piece of machine and everyone knows their role at CRUDO...the customer service here is absolutely flawless . The food was super fresh and very high quality meats, cheeses, veggies and the spicy melanzana tasted exactly like my Nonna made it. The pizza dough is a 3 day dough that is light and airy while chewy just the way I like it. The CRUDO experience is a must try, I was super impressed with Caprese Salad to the Prosciutto Pizza and especially the Fiamma Panuozzo...I challenge you to find a better panuozzo/sandwich in Toronto/GTA?! Closed on Sunday & Mondays because everyone requires a time of rest.
Crudo has such friendly, warm and welcoming service. The sandwiches are yummy with so many options to choose from. The iced coffee/slush was like ice cream in the best way. Although the it is pretty busy and you can expect to wait about 30 minutes it’s worth the wait. We grabbed some pastries at the bakery next door while we waited We will definitely be back!
I have worked in the service industry for 8 years. I went there on Saturday night after all the hype i have seen online. I got 2 sandwiches, both were amazing. I don’t understand reading some of the reviews on here. It’s 20 a sandwich that’s about 1.5x the size of subway and it’s filled with REAL freshly sliced meats from Italy, fresh delicious bread, and don’t even get me started on how good the cheese is... Your sub probably costs 14 and it’s processed garbage. This place is not expensive for what you get. The wait time is long, and worth it, however it can be avoided by ordering online. I went at night and saw them taking orders all the way up until 7:55pm. I was respectful at the counter(unlike most people) and tipped 5, around 11%, and was offered coffee, espresso, water, etc for free. The staff here are the same when I show up for lunch, or for dinner, they work long hours but they are amazing. Amazing work crudo team.
Un-f-in real. Amazing sandwich. Drove up from Niagara solely to grab a sandwich on a random Tuesdayin June 2025. Not only was it worth the drive, it's worth the walk. It's a symphony behind the counter watching these artisans create their masterpieces right in front of you. We will definitely be back. Worthy of diamonds, not stars in their rating.
